The Lehi-Rippy Literacy Center had its humble beginnings in July of 1998 in a one-room location generously provided by the city at the request of the center’s founder and current director, Hesther Rippy.
The Center is currently housed in the city library building, and its tutors and students benefit from the use of forty-one computers, along with Lexia educational software and 72 phonics-based sequentially-written readers, which provide the structural underpinnings for our reading program.

Indeed, such success continues to be found through the efforts of individuals working together for the cause of literacy among all.
