Lehi Round-Up Celebration 2008

The Round-Up city celebration held the last full week in June is always the highlight of the summer for the community of Lehi. We are sure there will be something everyone will be able to enjoy during this week. We encourage everyone to mark your calendars and take the opportunity to participate in this great tradition!

:: General Information ::
  • Slideshows of the 2007 Lehi Round-Up All-horse Parade, Miniature Float Parade, Grand Parade, and Rodeo are available online.
  • If you would like to sponsor a Round-Up event, call Susan Peterson at 766-3951.
  • Parade Theme 2008: "Tall Tales & Traditions". Miniature floats and children's entries only, all others can participate on Saturday. Parade Applications are due May 31, 2008.
  • For additional information on the events of the Lehi Round-Up Celebration, call Susan Peterson at 766-3951.
  • There will be activities going on all week long at The Hutchings Museum including free admission, gift shop discounts, and prizes for the winner of the "Guess the year of photos" contest. Go to www.hutchingsmuseum.org or call 768-7180 for more information.

:: Arts Show ::

An opening reception for the Round-up Days Fine Art Show will be held Friday, June 20th from 6-8 pm at the Lehi Arts Center. All artists and members of the community are invited to enjoy light refreshments and the presentation of awards.

The Round-up Days Fine Art Show will be on display at the Lehi Arts Center June 21st- June 28th. The exhibit will be open Saturdays 12-5 pm and Monday-Friday 5-9 pm and is free to the public. The Lehi Arts Center is located at 685 N. Center Street in Lehi. Please contact Linnie Brown at 766-2234 or for more information."

Reserved Rodeo Tickets go on Sale at Ream's Western Outfitters (36 S 200 W) June 2nd.

  • Thursday — Adults $11.00 / Children 12 and under $4.00 with paying adult.
  • Friday — All Seats $11
  • Saturday — All Seats $11

All Seats are Reserved

:: 71st Annual Round-up Queen Contest ::
  • What: Contestants do not have to be a resident of Lehi. Contestants must be 16 years of age and single. Contestants must be willing to meet Pre/Post Rodeo appointments (parades, personal appearance, etc.)
  • When: May 17, 2008
  • Where: COYOTE CREEK RANCH — Utah’s Premier Equestrian Center. 8194 Sagehill Drive Saratoga Springs, Utah. Just 2 miles west of Lehi. on Cedar Fort Hwy.
  • Competition Includes:
    • Modeling of formal western attire
    • Impromptu speaking – A personal introduction to include interests, rodeo/horse related experiences, etc. (No prepared speeches please)
    • Rodeo & equestrian knowledge
    • Personality and appearance
    • Horsemanship
  • Contest Schedule:
    • 11:00 a.m. - Contestant registration (If not pre-registered)
    • 11:30 a.m. - Individual interviews with judges
    • 12:00 p.m. - Contestant presentations: Modeling, Impromptu Speaking, Questions
    • 1:30 p.m. - Horsemanship (Family, friends & public welcome at Contestant presentations & Horsemanship)
