Chris Houghton

We would like to extend a special thanks to Chris Houghton who has been invaluable in setting up the Lehi Youth Peer Court. She spent numerous hours typing policies and developing forms needed to make the court run smooth. Her commitment to our youth court contributes to our on going success in serving the youth of Lehi City , Utah . Not only was she dedicated to the program, but to the youth that it served -- both defendants and volunteers. She builds great rapport with everyone involved with the program and shares her expertise without compromising the "youth" part of LYPC. She attended the youth court sessions each Wednesday evening and conducted intake interviews each Monday afternoon with the offenders and their parents/legal guardian. She provided assistance to the coordinator and the student youth court members. She also was instrumental in scheduling and training the adult and youth volunteers during the 2002-2003 year.
